New featureImprovement

QuickBooks Live is now GA

You can now ask Zamino anything about your QuickBooks Online data in real time — without waiting for a nightly sync. Behind the scenes, Zamino translates your question into a scoped QuickBooks query and returns the answer, grounded in the exact rows.

  • Live queries against QuickBooks customers, invoices, bills, expenses, and more.
  • Answers come back in under 4 seconds for typical questions.
  • Plays nicely alongside your existing scheduled syncs — no conflict.
  • Same grounding guarantees: every chart links back to the source.

Connect it in Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks. Existing QuickBooks customers can flip the "Live mode" toggle from the same page.

Improvement

AI budgets now apply per-team

Until now, AI spend caps were workspace-wide. Starting today you can set them at team and individual levels, too. Admins can allocate a monthly budget to the Finance team, another to Ops, and separate caps for power users — all from one page.

  • Per-team budgets with soft warnings and hard caps.
  • Live usage dashboard broken down by team, user, and model.
  • Fallback-to-cheaper-model is now configurable per budget.

Find the new controls under Settings → AI → Budgets.

Improvement

Entity resolution across sources

The most common frustration we hear from finance teams: the same customer is spelled three different ways across three different tools. Zamino now merges them automatically.

  • Deterministic matching on email, tax ID, and normalized name.
  • Fuzzy matching with a confidence score you can override per entity.
  • Manual merge and un-merge from the new Entities page.

Existing workspaces will see suggested merges in the Entities page within 24 hours of deploy. Nothing auto-applies; you approve each one.

Fix

October fixes and polish

A round-up of fixes shipped this week:

  • CSV exports now render correctly when opened in Numbers on macOS Sonoma (was showing a garbled header row).
  • Scheduled routines now respect your workspace timezone consistently — previously a routine set for 8am Pacific was firing at 8am UTC.
  • Chart legends no longer clip on small screens when series names are long.
  • Resolved a rare issue where a connection retry could flag a source as "failed" even though it had recovered.

No action required — these are live for all workspaces.

New feature

Introducing Routines

The question we hear most often is some variation of: "Can Zamino just send me this every Monday?" Now it can.

Routines let you schedule any answer on any cadence. Examples customers are already running:

  • "Weekly cashflow digest, Mondays 7am → #finance Slack channel."
  • "Month-end variance report, last business day → email to leadership."
  • "Top 5 overdue invoices, daily → dashboard tile on the Finance space."

Create one from any answer: click the clock icon, set a schedule, pick a destination. Manage all routines under Workspace → Routines.
